I'm proud to be a part of the group and I'm excited to join the practice. It is an honor to follow in my father’s footsteps in becoming a physician. Jessica Sota, FNP
I am a Northern California transplant with strong emergency room nurse background at a level II trauma center in Long Beach. My passions include advancement of evidence-based practice, patient education, advocacy and empowerment through patient-family centered care. I am currently pursuing my post-graduate certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner so I can better serve our patients with a holistic approach encompassing both mind and body treatment modalities. I am looking forward to helping each of my patients achieve and maintain their healthcare goals affording them a long and healthy life.

Hobbies and interests:
I have two Australian Shepherds Delilah and Lucy who keep me busy and constantly laughing. I enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to live abroad in both Austria and the Netherlands. I also enjoy a multitude of creative and artistic outlets including watercolor, designing vinyl stickers, crochet, elaborate Halloween costumes and whatever else catches my eye in the craft store! I am truly a Jessica-of-all-trades.
Our Practice
Our practice has deep roots in Long Beach as it was first established in this location over 110 years ago. Dr. Clayton De Jong took over in the late 80's and his son Dr. Tyler De Jong is excited to continue the legacy. Ours has always been a private practice that focuses on quality patient care. As specialists in Internal Medicine, we are well-equipped to meet your needs and take care of you in the community and in the hospital. As primary care providers, we know it isn't just about treating a patient's disease, but rather building a relationship of trust to provide you the best care possible.
